Lance is Home

Ok so he really came home at the beginning of March, but I still want to document. Lance served for two years in the Argentina Buenos Aires West Mission. We are glad he is back. I took the day off from work to be there at the airport. He was extremely tired. Who wouldn't after being up for 24 hours?
What a great missionary!

It was also a great opportunity to go with him as he reported on his mission. Elder Call had been up now for almost 48 hours straight. It would be hard enough to speak clearly after that, but trying to talk in English again made it even more difficult. However he did a marvelous job and I loved hearing him bear his testimony in Spanish. He's a great example.

Lance emailed us several times before he came home and told us were were not allowed to surprise him at the airport. It took us awhile to figure out why he was so worried about this. One day mom was putting together a home video. On it was Jason coming home from his mission. We had all forgotten that I had flown home from Washington DC, but did not tell Jason I was coming. So we kept our promise and didn't surprise him at the airport. The Thursday after he came home Jason was able to stop off in Houston for the night while coming back from a business trip. I went to the airport to pick Jason up. Lance got a really big surprise when he walked into the kitchen and Jason snuck up behind him.
