Happy Birthday Shalene!

Happy 30th Birthday Shalene!!!!

Good thing we only put 20 candles on the cake!

Love this picture of Alaina and Shalene!

Coldstones gift card from Jonny!

Yeah for presents!!!!

Puppet Show

A few Sunday's ago Alaina put on a puppet show for us. The boys had to join in the fun. It was very entertaining.

After the puppet show mom pulled out her accordian to play for us. She is so talented.

I don't know what was more entertaining: Alaina telling the story of a giraff looking for someone to marry or Cody laughing at the show.

Jonny is gettign in on the puppet show action! The croud is anxiously awaiting the show.

TOO FUNNY!!!! The stage was behind the couch

We were eating dinner and I look over and see Jonny. He's not asleep, but almost! Doesn't look very comfortable.

Mom and Dad got a trampoline in their back yard. Shalene's kids love it! I love this picture of Alaina.

Cody has the best run on the trampoline. His legs are so short.

August Update

A friend from college got married in August. Here are all my dear Aggie friends at Ben and Holly's reception. We always sing the Aggie War hymn. It was so fun to see everyone again.

Nefelinda, Breanne and I at the wedding reception! What fun good memories. Thanks Lisa for coming with me.

Cody is so dang cute! Shalene moved in next door to my parents. I LOVE having them here.

Alaina, Jonny and I all went out for ice cream one day after school!

New School Year!

This will be my 7th year teaching at Maplebrook and my 6th year teaching PPCD - (Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities). Since my 4 cinder block dolls can be really gray and boring I decided to make it a little more colorful. I found some puppets and used our play blocks to hold them up. Yes that is a ball pit!

I also decided to be more of a "teacher" and actually put up bulletin boards this year. I was hoping for a picture of a beautiful beach and some palms trees, but I'll settle for colors and shapes.
Our play area with very minimal toys out for First Day Fest.

Our fun circle time area. I love the block chairs!

The school year started off great! I have a great class!
